This section collects tips and information how to resolve issues with Gatekeeper
Gatekeeper requires server-side PHP. Because of this, the published page will automatically have the file extension ".php".
If you have an existing page which has been published before dropping in Gatekeeper, this page will have the file extension ".html".
Unfortunately, RapidWeaver does not do housekeeping and the old files will just remain at the target with new files added. Since files with the extension ".html" have precedence over files with the extension ".php", the old content will be loaded.
To get the new content displayed, you have to log in to your server, e.g using an FTP program and:
- Either simply remove the old file with the .html extension
- Or empty the entires folder and re-publish your project. Make sure not to delete vital data in the process!
